GNC Inositol Review: Amazing Aid In Brain Disorders
Although NOT truly a nootropic, for a long time Inositol has been used to treat a variety of symptoms and disorders such as:
- High cholesterol
Therefore, it has quite a few abilities in terms of promoting function in the brain.
Then again, it would probably not be as effective as other nootropics.
However, on that matter, we decided to review GNC Inositol as it’s being used as a smart drug by some of our readers and we wanted to have it run through our trials to see its effectiveness in what it does.
What is GNC Inositol’s Formula?
There really isn’t much to be said about GNC Inositol’s formula – it only contains what it says it does: Inositol.
However, under our close inspection, at 600mg a day, taken 2 days a day, as per GNC’s suggestion, the dosage is pretty good.
According to our team of experts, the necessary daily intake of inositol is around 1,000mg per day, and that’s from a normal person’s diet.
However, supplementing it at 1,200mg on top of that a day might hold good benefits.
Does GNC Inositol work?
Our trials of Inositol consisted of 15 people aged 19-38, suffering from ADHD, over the course of 30 days.
Each participant was asked to come in every 5 days to report their findings as well as participate in a test we designed to test changes in cognitive performance.
Our participants quickly realized that GNC Inositol works pretty well.
At the 2 servings a day dosage, our participants were able to minimize their ADHD symptoms in as little as 5 days.
This continued on for 15 days, in which we advised our participants to up their dosage to 3 servings a day.
We had to put them under close observation due to possible side effects associated with their own tolerances for the substance.
The 3-serving dosage did help a lot better than we expected, though, as we found that the higher doses of Inositol allowed higher suppression of ADHD symptoms.
The side effects of GNC Inositol
Fortunately, we found that our participants did not feel any side effects due to their intake with GNC Inositol.
Even when we advised upping the dosage to 3 servings a day, there were no reports regarding any side effects.
However, do take note that our trials only lasted a duration of 30 days, to which our participants’ daily intake of GNC Inositol was completely regulated.
This should not be an indicator for any long-term side effects.
That said, some side effects associated with Inositol use is diarrhea, high blood pressure, and in high amounts, nausea.

Our readers had a mostly positive opinion towards GNC Inositol, as the vast majority of the emails we’ve received concerned positive ratings of GNC Inositol and recommending us to review it.
The average reader scored it around 9.
That in mind, our readers did not review this as a nootropic, but as a supplement that many were taking along with a multivitamin.
It treats disorders quite well in some of our readers, alleviating symptoms of ADHD, OCD, and depression.
However, some of our readers also experienced some of the side effects such as diarrhea, which our participants did not.
Our Verdict from our GNC Inositol Review
We’d like to stress that GNC Inositol is not a substitute for your brain enhancing supplement or nootropic.
That in mind, GNC Inositol is amazing in what it does and what it’s purported to do.
In our trials, it’s helped suppress the symptoms of ADHD, and our readers claim it’s helped with OCD and depression as well.
It does help the brain, thus a brain drug.
Interestingly, their side effects are not too severe.
However, for those of you who are looking for something that gives you the edge that you need, look elsewhere.
