If you can go past the blatant reference to Ginkgo Biloba, which is actually one of the most sold supplements in America, you’ll find that Ginkgo Smart is actually more than just a Ginkgo supplement.
What it is, rather, is a brain enhancer.
From Irwin Naturals, Ginkgo Smart takes on the brain enhancing market with a niche that drives sales to it from people who are also looking for a Ginkgo supplement.
Meaning, they’re at the best of both worlds.
Ginkgo Smart seems to come in to the market very subtly, with not as many followers as some of the industry’s giants like Nitrovit and Alpha Brain.
Despite that, it seems like the people who have in fact tried Ginkgo Smart, love it and praise it for how well it works.
One thing that’s notable on Ginkgo Smart’s formula, though, is that the weight of Ginkgo Biloba extract in respect to the other ingredients present is quite large.
Does this give Ginkgo Smart a larger advantage over products such as Our Editors Choice Nitrovit or does it decrease its overall brain enhancing properties? Let’s find out in our Ginkgo Smart Review.
What Ginkgo Smart claim to do?
– Helps maintain a mental edge.
– Delivers powerful brain-boosting nutrients.
– Keeps your mind sharp and your memory at its best.
– Antioxidant protection.
– Vasodilating properties.
As one can see, and even if you go onto their own webpage, you’ll find that Irwin naturals’ Ginkgo Smart is really good in keeping its transparency.
You won’t find one claim regarding it that can be deemed extremely outrageous, as with some of the other brain enhancers that we’ve reviewed before – we’re looking at you, Excelerol.
Regarding their claims on what Ginkgo Smart does, though, it seems that aside from the complete realism, it is quite evident that Ginkgo smart does function like most nootropics.
It takes points on focus, providing a mental edge, as well as other improvements to your brain that include keeping you alert, and your memory at its best.
It also notes about the large amount of Ginkgo Biloba extract that it contains in its formula.
Ginkgo works as a vasodilator, meaning that it improves blood flow throughout the whole body.
This in turn, translates into more blood being pumped into the brain, enhancing cognitive function and memory, whilst supporting other benefits brought by other ingredients that work in the brain as well.
Did this supplement work during our Ginkgo Smart Review?
We tested Ginkgo Smart in our 2-month regular testing phase here in the office.
It was actually not originally on our list of products to review until one of us here, Joe, suggested it to management. He said that we’ve overlooked Ginkgo Smart, possibly due to the fact that it wasn’t highly advertised, and not really popular.
Regarding Ginkgo Smart, we found that the effects were demonstrated quite quickly upon taking their capsules.
To this, we did in fact feel an overall feeling of higher focus, increasing productivity in the office in the long run, and throughout the course of our tests.
We found that some of us were able to deliver reports quite early, even days before the deadline. This is where Ginkgo Smart excelled exceptionally.
Aside from that, there were substantial increases to memory abilities as well, some noting that they started remembering things more quickly, and even remembering things that they wouldn’t normally think of before taking Ginkgo Smart.
Additionally, Ginkgo Smart also instilled in some of us a sense of rejuvenation. We felt stronger, fuller. The best example would probably be what you’d normally feel after going through a detox. Weirdly enough, Ginkgo Smart did that for some of us.
What makes this Nootropic different?
Well, what makes Ginkgo Smart should be kind of obvious – its large focus on the Ginkgo Biloba extract included in its formula.
As mentioned earlier, it comes in quite a hefty dosage at around 1 third of the total weight of the capsule.
Something that other brain enhancing companies should learn from Ginkgo Smart is that it does actually do quite well in terms of differentiating itself from its competitors by offering a niche that also takes a play on Ginkgo’s popularity here in the US.
Aside from this, the transparency and the fact that Ginkgo does not make any wild claims on its website that cannot be backed by science is quite remarkable.
Verdict from our Ginkgo Smart Review:
We only found one thing lacking in Ginkgo Smart and that was its inclusion of Fish Oil, which although also employs a hand in brain enhancement, could have been taken in a smaller dose for more real estate for some of its other ingredients.
We would have loved to see a better ratio of its ingredients in that matter.
However, Ginkgo Smart is a solid brain enhancer.
It checks all the marks on our book, and we’ve only had one gripe with it – which isn’t really a gripe at all, when you think about it.
Ginkgo presents a unique niche to the brain enhancing industry, and although it isn’t extremely popular, it should be.
