Focal Fuel Review
Focal Fuel is a nootropic supplement which is advertised as being able to help you ‘unlock your brain’s full power and potential’, well we put this to the test in our own Focal Fuel Review.
Website states that it’s manufactured by a ‘leading edge brain nutrition company’, although doesn’t mention a name.
If they really were so leading edge, they’d tell us who they were.
They say they’re ‘a team of scientists, researchers and brain fanatics’, although we don’t quite believe that.
The only thing we know about the product’s manufacturers is that they’re based in Denver, Colorado, USA.
The Focal Fuel website is very basic and some of the pages no longer work.
It’s certainly not run by any market-leading supplement company, but a mystery one which exists to sell Focal Fuel only.
We did some digging to find out the truth about the product whether or not it really works.
Read on to see what we found.
Focal Fuel Ingredients
The ingredients list provides exact dosages over a vague proprietary blend, which is good.
Here’s the list in full:
- Gingko Biloba 50mg
- Phosphatidylserine complex 125mg
- Acetyl L-Carnitine 50mg
- St. John’s Wort 250mg
- Glutamine 150mg
- DMAE Bitartrate 50mg
- Bacopin 100mg
- Vinpocetine 2mg
The main ingredient is St. John’s Wort, which is a well-known herbal treatment for depression.
Other herbal extracts in the formula include Gingko and Bacopin, which are both frequently used in nootropic supplements for their benefits to memory function and stress response, respectively.
The other ingredients in Focal Fuel are known for their nootropic benefits, too.
Phosphatidylserine combats age-related cognitive decline and Acetyl L-Carnitine improves focus and memory while fighting free radicals as an antioxidant.
DMAE Bitartrate increases alertness and Glutamine helps the body respond to stress.
The 2mg of Vinpocetine is included to increase blood flow to the brain, aiding the absorption and effectiveness of all the aforementioned ingredients.
Overall, the formula is nothing special and is no different to anything else we’ve seen on the market.
Focal Fuel is produced in the USA under GMP guidelines.
The product’s reviews on Amazon are a mixed bag, as some say it works like a dream while others say its a scam.
When a products reviews are so black and white, showing only customers who are raving about it or others who say its a scam, it’s a red flag.
There positive reviews there don’t appear genuine to us.
Here is one example of the negative reviews:
“NOT worth it! I saw an add on YouTube and it made me think twice about Adderall, however this is simply a scam. SAVE your money and just drink lots of coffee.”

Buy Focal Fuel
Focal Fuel is available on Amazon for $49.95 for a bottle of 60 capsules (a one-month supply), which is a decent price tag.
The website also lists a phone number to order directly, 1-888-828-4291, although we’re not sure anyone orders anything by phone anymore.
They have a 60-day money back guarantee, you just have to return the bottle with the rest of the unused pills inside.
Focal Fuel Dosage
Recommended dosage for Focal Fuel is one capsule twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
Focal Fuel Summary
Focal Fuel is advertised as being manufactured by a dedicated team of scientists and researchers who are at the forefront of nootropic innovation
But that is not the case.
It contains popular nootropic ingredients, but there are countless other products out there which provide the same ones without any of the ambiguity about the service or effectiveness.
We can’t see any real reason to justify the high price tag, and would recommend giving this one a miss and having a look through some of our other reviews to find something more reliable with better value for money.
