Brain Armor is a plant-based DHA supplement for people looking to improve their cognitive performance and long-term brain health.

It’s produced by Life DSM, a health and wellness supplement company from the Netherlands.

We normally only review US built supplements, but this one has risen in popularity as more and more people switch to taking fish oil supplements.

What is DHA?

Docosahexaenoic Acid, or DHA, is an Omega-3 fatty acid.

Most of us associate Omega-3 with fish oil, but there are other ways to get it into your system.

To those of us who know how unpleasant the smell and taste of those fish oil pills are, this is great news.

DHA is vital for the brain, heart and cardiovascular health.

It’s especially valuable to mothers and babies, as it’s been shown to increase neural function in babies.

DHA helps to maintain brain health by supporting comunication between neurons and cells.

This also results in improved cognition and memory.

While you often see athletes and gym goers taking supplements like whey protein, creatine and BCAAs, they also require DHA to achieve peak performance.

Studies have shown that it improves speed, power and endurance, so it’s well-worth taking if you like to keep active.

DHA has been shown to be ineffective for treating ADD and ADHD, so we’re not sure that it’s really of use as a nootropic supplement, or that it can compete with the other brain pills on the market.

There is also limited research into its effects, so we can’t be truly sure of how helpful it really is.

Brain Armor Review – The Brain Armor Ingredients

Brain armor review, brain pills reviewed, brain armor reviewed, brain armour, brain armor ingredients, brain armor brain pill, brain pill ingredients, Brain Armor supplement factsBrain Armor gets its DHA from plant sources without the use of fish. In this supplement, the DHA is taken from algae.

For vegans and those who just hate fish oil pills, this is a great alternative.

Brain Armor contains 350mg of DHA per capsule and 1050mg per serving.

Other ingredients include rosemary extract, carrageenan, tocopherols, beta-carotene, high oleic sunflower oil, abscorbyl palmitate, glycerin, modified corn starch and sunflower lecithin.

Brain Armour Reviews

Unfortunately, there is a complete lack of customer reviews for Brain Armor online.

Aside from the testimonials on the official website (which are of course biased and not entirely reliable), there is very little out there.

Any good supplement should have some customer reviews online to vouch for it, but Brain Armor doesn’t have that, which speaks volumes.

There are a couple of reviews on other brain pill sites, but that’s all.

Should You Buy Brain Armor?

1 bottle of Brain Armour containing 60 softgels costs $29.99. Since recommended dosage is three softgels per day, this won’t last a whole month.

If you wanted to stock up for a bit longer, you could purchase 180 softgels for $59.99 instead.

No matter how much you buy, 10% of what you spend will be donated to the Brain Armor Foundation, for research into the prevention, diagnoses and treatment of concussions.

There is a 30-day money back guarantee, but in order to claim your refund, you will have to pay for shipping costs.

Brain Armor is only available for purchase in the USA and Canada.

Brain Armor Review Summary

We find it strange that this DHA supplement is marketed as a brain pill, because as a nootropic, it just doesn’t cut the mustard.

It’s a great plant-based source of DHA for people who don’t want to take fish oil pills, but that’s all it is.

We also don’t like the fact that there are so few reviews of Brain Armor online, and that makes us wonder if it’s really any good at all.

It seems to come from a reliable company, but the product itself is totally unreliable.

We wouldn’t be comfortable spending our money on this one and would even go as far as to say that it might be a complete waste.

Brain Armor may be able to benefit long term brain health, but it doesn’t offer any real cognitive benefits.

If you’re looking for something to really boost your focus, energy and mood, choose a nootropic stack instead.

We’d recommend something containing Huperzine-A, Phosphatidylserine and Noopept. Take a look at our other reviews to compare your options.
